School incursions and excursions
Children will be given the opportunity to go on various incursions and excursions during the school year. These have been planned to enrich their knowledge of the community and environment, and to widen their knowledge of the activities and the occupations of people in the community.
To allow children to go with their class on walks in the local area, it is necessary for you to sign the Extra Permissions form included in your child’s enrolment package. Generally, these excursions will be for one or two hours duration and children will walk to their destination. Teachers will notify parents/carers of these through class notes or newsletters.
School camping program
The school has an extensive camping program for Years 3-6. Parents/carers are encouraged to send their children on these educational experiences. Parents/carers will be given advance notice of these camps.
